Improving confectionery production efficiency through packaging automation
Project goal, tasks and budget
Goal: Reduce unit costs, increase production efficiency and improve the quality and shelf life of finished goods by automating the packaging process.
Objective: Purchase a modern Pearl Servo horizontal packaging machine to ensure consistent packaging, reduce manual labour and preserve the freshness, appearance and consumer properties of the products.
Budget: UAH 2,511,600, of which UAH 1,255,800 is grant funding and UAH 1,255,800 the company’s own contribution.
Solution
A grant application was submitted under the state grant programme for processing-industry manufacturing, to finance packaging automation and increase the productivity of the confectionery line.
Result
Financing was approved. After the project, the company reduced production costs, cut packaging time, improved consistency of quality, extended shelf life and strengthened its own brand on the national market.
