Expanding production capacity for soy products, including GMO-free lines
Project goal, tasks and budget
Goal: Expand the plant’s soy-processing capacity, including GMO-free products, meet growing domestic demand and increase export potential.
Objective: Install three new processing lines, modernise the technological equipment, raise productivity and product quality, and train the staff.
Budget: UAH 34,934,270, of which UAH 19,599,562 is grant funding and UAH 15,334,708 the company’s own contribution.
Solution
A project was developed and a grant application submitted under the USAID AGRO programme “Export-oriented processing of grain, oilseed and legume crops” to purchase and install new production lines.
Result
Financing was approved. The project increased soy processing volumes by 25%, established GMO-free production, reduced import dependence, opened new export markets and created new jobs in the Vinnytsia region.
