Expanding poultry slaughter and processing capacity by introducing a conveyor line
Project goal, tasks and budget
Goal: Increase poultry meat processing volumes and improve production efficiency by installing a new high-tech conveyor line for slaughtering, plucking and eviscerating poultry.
Objective: Modernise the plant’s production capacity, increase productivity by 25%, optimise the use of resources, shorten the production cycle and reduce the share of manual labour.
Budget: UAH 15,179,688, of which UAH 7,589,844 is grant funding and UAH 7,589,844 the company’s own contribution.
Solution
A business plan was developed and a grant application submitted under the state grant programme for processing-industry manufacturing, to finance the purchase of a conveyor line and the introduction of automated production management systems.
Result
Financing was approved. The project increased processing volumes to 1,200 head per hour, reduced production costs, improved product quality and safety, delivered steady growth in sales and strengthened the company’s position in the meat processing market.
