Expanding production for deep timber processing and higher value-added output
Project goal, tasks and budget
Goal: Improve the efficiency of woodworking production and increase profitability by launching a deep timber processing line, including a drying chamber and machines for producing cladding, floorboards and siding.
Objective: Equip the plant with modern high-tech machinery, provide a full timber processing cycle, reduce raw material losses, diversify the product range and strengthen positions in EU export markets.
Budget: UAH 5,501,300, of which UAH 2,750,650 is grant funding and UAH 2,750,650 the company’s own contribution.
Solution
A business plan was developed and a grant application submitted under the state grant programme for processing-industry manufacturing, to purchase a drying chamber and a set of woodworking machines and to equip a new production site.
Result
Financing was approved. The project will allow the company to increase the share of value-added products, expand its markets, reduce raw material exports, improve energy efficiency and support sustainable development of the region’s woodworking industry.
