Restarting a business by opening a children’s clothing store
Project goal, tasks and budget
Goal: Restart business activity and create a source of income by opening a children’s clothing store in Boryspil, Kyiv region.
Objective: Find and lease retail premises of at least 50 sq m, purchase retail and till equipment, build a competitive product range, set up operations and hire staff.
Budget: Total investment required to restart the business is UAH 1.65 million, of which UAH 250,000 is grant funding and UAH 1.4 million the owner’s own contribution towards building the product range.
Solution
A structured business plan for opening a children’s clothing store was developed, a full document pack prepared and an application submitted to the state grant programme “Vlasna Sprava” (Own Business). Advisory support was provided throughout the financing process.
Result
Grant financing of UAH 250,000 was received, providing the necessary investment to deliver the store opening successfully, restarting the business and creating a stable source of income.
